Seeking to live out our mission statement at all times - ‘living the love of Jesus in our community’ - we are a church that is open to all. As you will see below, many aspects of our weekly program are aimed at serving the community in which we find ourselves. On top of this, our facilities are available for and often used by individuals and community groups from outside of the church such as Barn United Football Club, Women’s Aid and Glenfield Community Association.
Good Morning Carrickfergus is a free, voluntary telephone befriending, support and alert service for older and vulnerable adults in the Carrickfergus Borough area. The service is hosted here at the church and supported by Carrickfergus Police & Community Safety Partnership, the Northern Health & Social Care Trust and the Mid & East Antrim Agewell Partnership.
As well as the telephone service which operates 5 mornings a week (Monday to Friday) and a free monthly lunch, our volunteers often go over and above their duties and provide other supports to clients when necessary. This could include assistance with transport to healthcare appointments, emergency shopping as well as home and hospital visitation.
You can find out more information about the Good Morning Carrick service, including volunteering and job opportunites, by contacting us or by clicking here.

A time for young men aged 11-18 to come along and let off some steam. Open and free to all, regardless of fitness or ability, Thursday Night Football provides a safe and friendly environment where ‘the beautiful game’ is used to break down the barriers of bullying, sectarianism and the church. The games are played indoors and are supervised by two adults at all times.
