Walking into a new place can be a daunting experience.
Below are some FAQs you might have before your visit. If you still have questions, contact us!
Our Sunday morning service starts at 11am with a welcome and some announcements about what’s happening in the life of the church, followed by a time of worship led by the band for about 30 minutes.
Please feel free to join in with singing, stand or sit – whatever makes you most comfortable. A member of our pastoral team then gives an encouraging talk based on a Bible passage. Our service usually concludes with a final song.
We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life. It doesn’t matter your religion, job or if you have any experience of church, we’d love to meet you.
If you have questions or would like to know more about what we believe or why we do what we do, our pastoral team are always on hand to answer any questions.
In the meantime, why not check out our Who We Are section, where you can learn more about our story and our beliefs, as well as meet our team.
Children have a very special place in our church and we want to make their experience is just as meaningful as yours. During our Sunday services feel free to make use of our creche for young children, which includes a livestream of the service. Read More
For primary school children our kids programme runs alongside the 11am service where children enjoy a time of fun, games, craft and creative teaching.
We also offer an optional free kids breakfast from 10:30am before the programme begins at 11am.
Please note that Kids and Youth team volunteers at Carrickfergus Church of the Nazarene have willingly undergone Access NI checks.
We have a car park at the Church – pick any free space. Disabled parking also available.
We have no dress code – feel free to wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. Simply come as you are and experience a warm welcome at Carrick Nazarene.
We want to do all we can to make you feel at home. We have easy access for wheelchair users and there is plenty of room once you’re inside. There is also a ‘loop’ system installed for the hearing impaired.
If there is anything else that would help you feel at ease in our Sunday gatherings, please do not hesitate to let our welcome team know, and we’ll be more than willing to help.
