Good Morning Carrickfergus

Good Morning Carrickfergus is a free, voluntary telephone befriending, support and alert service for older and vulnerable adults.

The service is hosted here at the church and supported by Carrickfergus Police & Community Safety Partnership, the Northern Health & Social Care Trust and the Mid and East Antrim Agewell Partnership.

As well as the telephone service which operates 5 mornings a week (Monday to Friday) we also offer complementary lunches throughout the year. Our volunteers often go over and above their duties and provide other supports to clients when necessary.

This could include assistance with transport to healthcare appointments, emergency shopping as well as home and hospital visitation.
